Elm

Elm is a stunning light-coloured wood that was found throughout Ontario and used extensively in building projects.  Often used as structural beams in barns, reclaimed Elm is a great choice for both delicate projects and durable table tops etc.

Unfortunately these days, new Elm is being threatened by Dutch Elm Disease – another reason why reclaiming and finding new uses for pre-existing pieces is vitally important.
